Lenten Reflection
Day 26
You are deeply loved because He called you by name!
You are chosen, holy, set aside for a special and noble purpose. You are called to be a part of a royal priesthood, you are a child of the most high God. You may be in need of an anchor point right now. Perhaps, much has taken place that has shaken you and filled you with doubt that this journey is even for you. Rest assured of this: God who called you to this, will see you through.
God knew you before you were born. He fashioned you, molded you and continues to shape every facet of your life.
In the past couple of weeks you have been building a relationship and in order to be solid you must start with a good foundation and true cornerstone. Set Jesus Christ as your cornerstone and the rest of your life (your relationship with Him) will be square, true and solid. But you are not laboring alone, you have a partner. God the Father , the Son and the Holy Spirit build with you, constructing a beautiful relatioship based on trust and truth.
Write down the ways God has brought you back from the darkness into light.
Spend time in prayer today thanking God for beginning the work in you with His Son Jesus Christ, and setting Himself as your foundation to build upon.
Prayer of consecration
Lord,
I confess my sins and failures to you and I am very sorry for having sinned against You. Give me the strength to seek and accept Your grace and forgiveness.
Lord Jesus, you poured yourself out completely and died for me so that I would have eternal life. I claim that wonderful and indescribable gift of salvation.
Create a pure heart in me, refresh my spirit and renew my mind and body.
I consecrate myself to you Lord and ask that you use me according to your holy will.
I pray in Jesus name.
