Day 27

Love someone past the hurt

We thank God for all the "good" people that he brings into our lives, but what about the the "others"? There are those that distract us, irritate us, anger us or even frighten us, what about them? Do we thank God for them? After all they're a big part of our lives too! Perhaps God has chosen to put these people in our lives for a specific purpose. Maybe, we are meant to be transformed by God through them in a powerful way, or maybe we are meant to be a blessing to them and share God's love in a different way that helps to transform them. Sometimes we are the only "Jesus" some may recieve, so we ought not waste the opportunity. Ask the Lord to reveal to you someone who needs the Father's love brought to their life and ask our Father in heaven to use you for that very purpose.

Prayer of consecration

Lord,

I confess my sins and failures to you and I am very sorry for having sinned against You.  Give me the strength to seek and accept Your grace and forgiveness.

Lord Jesus, you poured yourself out completely and died for me so that I would have eternal life. I claim that wonderful and indescribable gift of salvation.

Create a pure heart in me, refresh my spirit and renew my mind and body.

I consecrate myself to you Lord and ask that you use me according to your holy will.

I pray in Jesus name.

Amen
