Lena Baptist Church was founded in Lena in 1854 as a fellowship of believers and followers of Jesus Christ of the Regular Baptist Church. It exists to serve the faithful throughout the area.

Since then, Lena Baptist Church has expanded its' ministry with the present church structure being errected in 1902. The current basement Fellowship/ Social Hall was hand dug by volunteers in 1948 and the Sunday School addition was added on in 1966.

The needs of 21st-century communities seem to be growing by the day. Our church is expanding to meet these needs. Outreach, Ministries and community involvement is the ongoing frontier for the members of Lena Baptist Church. Over the years, we have learned that what people need most is someone to love them right where they're at and who will listen to their concerns - someone they can turn to for support when the going gets tough. And that's what Lena Baptist Church is all about. Meeting the need in a loving way.
