Day 28

Blessed are you

Jesus said in his sermon on the mount: "Blessed are those that hunger and thirst"... Are you hungry for what only the "Bread of Heaven" can provide? If you can relate to that, then spend some time meditating on todays scriptures especially the ones called the "Be Attitudes" or the "Blessings". Have you made it a point to count your "blessings", you know the ones that sound like affliction? As you ponder these things, pray that God brings these new revelations to mind, thank him for the wonderful blessings, especially the ones that have come as a result or enduring hardships and trials.

Read: Matthew 5:1-14

Prayer of consecration

Lord,

I confess my sins and failures to you and I am very sorry for having sinned against You.  Give me the strength to seek and accept Your grace and forgiveness.

Lord Jesus, you poured yourself out completely and died for me so that I would have eternal life. I claim that wonderful and indescribable gift of salvation.

Create a pure heart in me, refresh my spirit and renew my mind and body.

I consecrate myself to you Lord and ask that you use me according to your holy will.

I pray in Jesus name.

Amen
