Day 34
Pray without ceasing
You've heard it said: "Pray for others because others have prayed for you". It points out a fundamentally important aspect for all Christians. Namely this: Christians need other Christians, to associate with; to worship with, to be with.
In your prayers today, ask God to reveal to you someone who is in need of prayer. Prayers for strength or mercy; for healing, for guidance. Offer up to the Lord today in prayer everything that God puts on your heart.
If throughout the day someone randomly comes to mind, know that it is the Holy Spirit at work in you bringing this person in thought and laying them on your heart. Pray for them. God knows their needs too!
May today be a day filled with powerful prayer and miraculous action.
Prayer of consecration
Lord,
I confess my sins and failures to you and I am very sorry for having sinned against You. Give me the strength to seek and accept Your grace and forgiveness.
Lord Jesus, you poured yourself out completely and died for me so that I would have eternal life. I claim that wonderful and indescribable gift of salvation.
Create a pure heart in me, refresh my spirit and renew my mind and body.
I consecrate myself to you Lord and ask that you use me according to your holy will.
I pray in Jesus name.
